The Administrative & Communication working group (Admin/Comms) has two primary tasks:
Develop the messaging & operational strategy of SURJ SF.
Manage communications from our primary platforms:
Social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), including ad campaigns
Other email and engagement (via Every Action)
We mostly coordinate via Slack, plus a Google Group to share items to include in the newsletter and our socials.
We meet 2x/month (once for an hour, once for 15 min) on Google Meet, Tuesday evenings around 6:30 pm PST.
Develop and implement strategy to increase SURJ SF’s reach and influence on social media.
Help write and edit SURJ SF’s weekly newsletter, plus other one-off communications as needed.
Build a digital ad strategy for SURJ SF on and off social media to increase membership.
