The Land We Live On: No matter where we are on Turtle Island, the land we live and are meeting on is stolen land. In San Francisco we live on the land stolen from the Yelamu tribe of the Ramaytush Ohlone people who lived in deep relationship with this land for over 10,000 years before missionization and colonization. As white settlers in San Francisco, we are the beneficiaries of that theft and genocide and bear responsibility for ongoing harms.
